BASNCR’s annual exhibit at Brookside Gardens, Wheaton, Maryland

The attached is a copy of our invitation to the reception of our Exhibition @ Brookside Gardens, “Did you know? We will have postcards available at our meeting on Sunday, but we invite you to send this digital copy to friends or print it out for display in local businesses to advertise the exhibition in a timely fashion.

Please call Meta Carr if you are able to help with the refreshments. Brookside has rules that food served in the garden must be professionally prepared, so that gets you off the hook for cooking.
Meta can give you more information, (Meta@mcarr.net or 202-387-3850) but I’m going to pick up a tastey treat and bring it along. ( I think the rule is so that we don’t bring in foods from un-inspected kitchens). If you have questions about the reception, ask Meta.

As you can tell from the card, the reception is February 17th from 2:00-4:00.

2013 Botanical Watercolor Workshop Schedule at The Elizabethan Gardens

Linda C. Miller, Resident Botanical Artist at The Elizabethan Gardens, inspires participants to see, preserve and interpret the beauty of the garden during this unique workshop. The first day begins with a thirty-minute program about botanical art and a walking tour of the gardens to gather specimens. Artists will delight in Miller’s vested interest and skill in capturing the botanical world in watercolor and her ability to impart this mastery with the class.

This two-day workshop is open to all artists – beginner to advanced, with optional third day. Price includes admission to The Gardens.

Two-Day Class: Members/Friends, $100; Non-Members, $120.

Three-Day Class: Members/Friends, $150; Non-Members, $180.
